I Have a new pet
I have a new pet to add to my collection. Shes a very cute little Hamster called Bollo. Yes I know its a very strange name for a hamster but for all of you who dont know already, she is named after the gorilla familiar on the Mighty boosh (Student type uk comerdy). She arrived on friday and I managed to scare her and myself on saturday when I attempted to get her out and she made a leap for the floor and a dash for behind the washing machine. Any way after all that I had to start from scratch with the whole taming thing. I left her for a couple of days, when she spent most of the time in her nest, which she has made for herself, not in the nice little nesting house I bought her but in her tube which she is supposed to use for exercise. Any way yesterday I tried to tempt her out of her nest with a rasin but not much luck, she stuck her nose out to see what was going on, but then snuggled back down and went to sleep. So after that I thought it was going to take ages for her to come out. But tonight I managed to spark some hammy intrest when I cocsed her out with a bit of cucumber. She went a bit crazy first darting around her cage like a mad thing. But after a while and a little sniffing around she took the treat out of my fingers before going for a long run in her wheel. any way IM SO EXCITED its cool to finally see her out of her nest and its even cooler that she actually went near my hand without biting me and getting scared. Finally we are making progress. YIPEE
All for now but I managed to get a couple of pictures tonight so I will try and share them with you tomorro.
