Ive been to milton keynes
unfortunatly I didnt see the concrete cows but I had fun all the same.
We drove down on the Sunday evening and stopped of sor tea at the OK diner just past Grantham on the A1 before arriving at Milton Keynes where we stayed at the Hilton (I know very posh.)
Pete was working down there for three days so I had to entertain myself.
monday I spent most of the time shopping in the MK Centre where I bought loads of cool stuff. I went to the bear factory and built a bear. Pictures will follow. Shes called lollybear and is soo cute. In the evening I picked pete up from work and we went to Nndos for tea.mmmm very scrummy (Oh and yes I di drive my first time on the motor way and I had to say I was pretty scared but it soon wore off and I ended up thinking it was pretty cool)
Tuesday morning I chilled in the hotel had a swim watched a bit of day time telly before meeting Pete for luch at McDonalds. In the afternoon I went ti the MK Gallery which is really cool from the outside as its bright pink but was pretty boring once you got inside juat two rooms each with 3 pictures in them. Wasnt impressed so I decided to go to starbucks and then do a bit more shopping before picking Pete up so we could go to wagamamas for tea more scrummy food.
Wednesday was our last day I dropped pete off at work before checking out of the hotel and and attempting to find IKEA which I did although I have no idea how. Thats where I spent the morning before having meatballs for lunch followed by diam bar cake which just sooo has to be done when in IKEA. the afternoon I decided to have a drive and ended up in Wouburn where I decided to go to the safari park which was really cool I was a bit scared for my little car but although at one point I had a monkey on my roof no damage was done and I had a really fun time before returning to MK to pick pete up for our returning journey back home.
all in all I had a grreat time.
